The Big Field by Mike Lupica

Review by: Matt F.
Connecticut, Grade 7

One interesting thing about this book was that when Hutch and his competition at the position he plays (shortstop) meet in the locker room and just get along and do everything business as usual so they can do the best for their team. This is important because this shows that he had enough integrity and respect for his team to just go and play.

I liked this book because this book is about baseball. I also liked it because my favorite author Mike Lupica wrote this book. Also it talks about state tournaments, and all kinds of players and drama.
