The Adventures of Robin Hood by Roger Lancelyn Green

Review by: Nimue H.
Michigan, Grade 6

It's a wonderful story describing the many ballads and tales of Robin Hood written in the 14th-15th centuries.

Don your Lincoln Green and prepare to go on a romping adventure with the merry men and Robin Hood, formerly known as Robert Fitzooth, Lord of Locksley. Robin and his men: Will Scarlett, Much Millerson, Little John, and others, go on wonderful adventures to help the poor under the oppression of The Sheriff of Nottingham and his cruel henchman, Sir Guy of Gisborne in the time of the Crusades while good King Richard is away fighting. It's a wonderfully-woven tale for all ages and both genders.
