Agatha Christie: Writer of Mystery by Carol Dommermuth-Costa

Review by: Miranda F.
Pennsylvania, Grade 7

An interesting part of this book was when I learned that Agatha Christie wrote two books dedicated to her husband, Max, and her daughter, Rosland. She locked these books in a vault and gave the combination to Max. She only wanted them to be published when she died. These books marked the death of her characters the two famous detectives, Hercule Poirot and Miss. Marple.

I liked this book because I love to write. Reading how an author became who she was today kept me turning the pages (even though it was a biography). I really thought this book was a great read.
