George Carver, Boy Scientist by Augusta Stevenson

Review by: Vicki S.
Pennsylvania, Grade 7

An interesting thing about this book is that George never stopped working he was always doing something. He would either be woking on homework or on his normal work, or job. He liked to work and challenge him self, which was interesting because most kids that are 10-14 don't like to work alot.

I like this book because it was well writen. It was very inspiring, and sweet. It was inspiring because George worked very hard on his school work, and on his work/job that he earned his food money from. it was sweet because he and his brother,Jim, loved and helped each other out alot.
