Chanters of Tremaris #1: The Singer of All Songs by Kate Constable

Review by: Laya M.
North Carolina, Grade 7

The Singer of all Songs is a book to read when you need an escape. The book draws you in as soon as you read the first page to the land of Antaris. Follow Calwyn on her adventerous journey with Darrow, for the Singer of all Songs.

Calwyn lives in the city of Antaris, where singing is valued. They worship the goddess, which has powers. On one of the nine days of The Strenghting, in which the priestess sing to maintain the wall, Darrow appears. It is also impossible to climb the wall, which surrounds the city of Antaris.

I liked the book because it brought a sense of adventure and fantasy at the same time and in one book. I would recomend it to everyone.
