When you think of Jackie Robinson you think of the first african american baseball player. If you read this book you will think different. He was one of the best athletes in the world during his teenage years but was disliked because of his race. Imagine how hard it is to deal with that. Jackie taught me never to give up no matter how many bumps in the road there are.
I liked this book because I play baseball and other sports and was able to make many connections. Also my family is a part of history and this book is about history so it interests me. This is a great book that will teach you an important lesson. It is a great read with a great morale and I think you will think that too if you read it.
