The book the author's memoir of being raped in college. It was very detailed and disturbing but very interesting at the same time. It offered a new insight into the mind of victims, although Alice Sebold is very unique in the way she handles life's challanges.
I liked that the entire book was not sad. Although it is a serious topic that can make many people depressed, the author was witty and sometimes comical even in horrible situations.
