A Million Little Pieces by James Frey

Review by: Emily V.
New Jersey, Grade 10

Something interesting about the story is how there are flash-backs in James Frey's life to when he was in high school. These flashbacks tell the reader more about the character as well as interest the reader.

I liked this book because unlike most books about drug or alcohol addicts, it presents you with the real details, that not many want to here. Although at times the book was gory and disturbing, it allowed me to really understand what drug addicts and alcoholics must go and the struggles they must face.
