A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett

Review by: Meghan B.
Illinois, Grade 7

Sara Crewe had it all. A loving father, glamorous cltohes, and a big heart.
But in the blink of an eye, everything was gone.
Her papa was dead. How could she go on?
Her school forces her to work for them as a scullery maid. Sara runs around, doing everyone's bidding, never getting thanked.
But she tries not to be anything but a princess.
Little does Sara know, magic is brewing.
Someone has moved in next door.
Someone very important.

I really liked this book because it gives you a feeling of wholeness. It's romantic, adventures, hopeful, and after you read it, you really take a look around you. I love how everything ties together in the end. It's amazing.
