It tells a classical tale
People who know about Arthurian legends usually know just one side of the story. They know that Merlin told King Arthur a troublesome prohesy that Arthur would have a son, Mordred, that was fated to kill him. Arthur is called a gallant and noble king while Mordred was dumped with names like murderer or evil even when he was just a child. We know almost everything about Arthur, but we usually know zip about Mordred.
