Ghost Sitter by Peni R. Griffin

Review by: Madian C.
Kansas, Grade 7

I read Ghost Sitter by Peni R. Griffin. The story took place in a blue house with a peach tree around 2000.The main character is Charlotte and her house is haunted by Susie, a ten-year-old girl who died from an M-80 on the Forth of July. Charlotte at first was scared of Susie but then found out that Susie was lonely and tries to help her. So Charlotte tries to help her cross over but Charlotte needs for Susie to remember sheís dead.

A personal connection that I made with the book was Susie is lonesome. Since Susieís family left her she has been lonesome and hides the pain by playing with the babies that move into her house. When Iím sad or depressed I bury my self in my work or Iím not focused and Iím in my thoughts.
