Diary of a Wimpy Kid #2: Rodrick Rules by Jeff Kiney

Review by: Cristian Z.
California, Grade 6

Would you like to spend your summer being tortured by your brother? Well that is what happens in the fiction book by Jeff Kinney called “Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrik Rules”. The book is about a kid who has an older brother who pushes him around. The main character is Greg Hefley who gets pushed around by his brother because of the secret he has over him.
The most interesting section is when Greg wraps himself in toilet paper; it’s funny for someone to cover him in toilet paper. The least interesting part is when Greg takes care of a dog because all he does is clean up after it. A memorable quote that I learned in the book is “Good luck with that”.

If I could change anything in this book I wouldn’t change anything, because everything in the book supports the next page. If I were to give this book a score I would give it 10 stars. Another thing I learned in the book is don’t believe everything that you hear, because in the story Rodrick tells Greg to help him and he will let him go to his party but after he helps him he locks him in the basement. I would recommend this book to whoever likes to have a laugh while reading. Thank you for listening.
