Diary of a Wimpy Kid #2: Rodrick Rules by Jeff Kinney

Review by: Jae C.
California, Grade 6

Jeff Kinney wrote Diary of the Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules in fiction. This book is about his brother, Rodrick, who has a big secret of Gregís. Rodrick always lectures Greg about his secret that happened over the summer.
The most interesting part was when Rodrick told everybody about Gregís secret but instead Greg became famous in his school. It was interesting because I thought it was find of weird how he became famous. The least interesting part was when Rowley, Gregís best friend, was talking about his field trip because he the part was not funny and interesting as the other parts were. In the book there were no memorable quote to me.

If I were to write the story, I would not change anything. I would not change the story because the story was fun and interesting also because the first time I saw this book I thought it would have been fun. The book was the best one I had ever read so I would give it a four star out of four. One thing I learned in this book is not to be so full of myself because when I read this book I always see that Greg is always full of himself. He always thinks of himself and donít think of others so he even gets in trouble a lot.
