Review by: Sara B.
Iowa, Grade 7

The book “Horror at camp Jellyjam,” is written by R.L Stine. It is about these two kids, Wendy and Elliot. They ride in the trailer that’s attached to the car their parents are driving, when they suddenly go on steep hills, and the trailer is detached. They finally, after a lot of bouncing, landed but they land at a sports camp. They get a room and start competing, well until they find their parents. Every time you win a sport you get a king koin. Wendy’s new roommate Deirdre gets six, so she gets to walk in the winners walk. It’s awesome until she disappears. Then she finds something so horrible and she also finds the missing kids. Her brother Elliot has his 5th king koin and he’s about ready to get his six. Can Wendy save him before he gets his sixed king koin? Before he’s brought in the middle of it? What will happen next? Can she save them?

This book is a thriller and is sort of scary. I like scary! i totally liked the writing style. Everytime when something edgy happens he ends the chapter. It makes you want to keep reading. I thought it was a great .book!
