The Boy Who Could Fly Without a Motor by Theodore Taylor

Review by: Ethan R.
Pennsylvania, Grade 7

One interesting thing about the book was when John, the main charecter, started flying against his will. Usually John willingly pulls all the strength inside of him together in order to fly. later in the book the problem got so bad that John has to carry buckets of paint around with him so that he does not unexpecdidly fly away.

I liked this book because of all the gripping, exicting, and funny parts. For example, a really exciting part was when John flew for the first time. A funny part was when The President wanted to be the first man photographed with John, but one of the coast gaurds had already been photographedwith John. John and the man from the coast guard made that their secret and locked the photo up in a bank vault.
