The House on the Gulf by Margaret Peterson

Review by: Amber D.
Pennsylvania, Grade 7

The mystery of The house on the Gulf was written by Margaret Peterson, and took place in a hot summer mounth. The book was very suprising and always kept you reading to find out more exotic parts of the story. Britt has a very good personality she is very cunnigly toward her mother and Brann. Britt was around eleven years old and acted twice her age. Bran is very clever and quiet he always did what he was told and was always hideing something. Britt is determaned to figure out Brans biggest secret. The story happened in first person narration.

The auther in this story describes how Bran wants to make his family and get his mom a better education.
