Cabinet of Wonders by Marie Marina

Review by: Cheyenne G.
Kansas, Grade 7

Up in the tree house where the two boys are talking about inventing a new invention. External because of how the story goes into a big setting, then turns a lot less useful because of how boring it gets at the end of the book. They invented eye balls and a marble that has a real lightning bolt from the sky. The cot it then put a spell in it so that the lightning bolt would stay in the inside of the marble

My cabinet that I used to have in my room, had a huge clock on the top. When I was little I used to hide inside of that cabinet so I could hide somewhere in our hide and go seek games. What it relates to is that the cabinet of wonders, the people would have to walk into the cabinet to go back and travel through time. So they are kind of alike in the two ways I told u. I didn’t like the book at the end because there wasn’t anything interesting as there was in the middle and the beginning. the rising action was problem my favorite part about the hole thing where, this guy would try and steel the cabinet of wonders so that he could get revenge on the other guy from the past. And he also wanted to steel it from him so that when he invents it he could tell everyone that he invented it instead, so, he could take all the credit. So, anyway…. That was my favorite part.
