Curse of The Wendigo by Rick Yancey

Review by: Ashley W.
Kentucky, Grade 10

This book is like a mixture of Sherlock Holmes and Steven King in a graphic sense. It will have you on the edge of your seat wanting more. It leaves you with more questions than answers.

I liked the book because throughout the novel you are sitting on the fence on whether or not the Wendigo, or monster, is real or fake in the read. You have the Mysterious Monstrumologist teaching his pupil about the fundamentals of his work but the pupil questions fact or fiction throughout the read. There are some vivid imagery but it adds to the suspense and urgency to the novel as a whole.
