Evermore is a book about a girl named Ever who had a perfect life with a perfect family, friends, school, and boyfriend. But that all changed after she and her family got into a huge car accident killing her younger sister, mother, father, and her dog Buttercup. Upon waking up in the hospital she realizes she can see a strange glow around everyone she sees and can hear their thoughts and realize she now has the ability to read minds and see glowing reflections coming off of people called auras. After the accident, Ever is now living with her aunt who is never around and is now going to a new high school and hangs around with the weird kids in school, Ever's life couldn't be any more depressing. The only thing that keeps her from going crazy is when her dead sister comes to her and tells her about the after world and her parents who never come and visit her. Now thereís a new boy in Ever's school who gives her chills whenever he looks into her eyes and sends her heart into a rush whenever they touch. She starts to fall in love with the new mysterious boy, Damen, who is the only one who she canít see an aura surrounding him, and canít read his mind. She finds out he understands everything about her and how she is physicist and can see auras and reading other peopleís minds because he is also physicist and is in love with Ever. Eventually Damen makes Ever fall in love and, like always, they live happily ever after.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like about the book. It was mysterious, dark but loving, and a page- turner.
