The main character, Cara, is the daughter of Huw the Dragonmaster, who is the owner of Dragonsdale, a dragon farm where people are taught to ride dragons. Cara is forbidden to ride dragons by her father because her mother died by falling off a dragon. Cara loves dragons, and hopes to ride on one someday. There's only one dragon in the whole stable which she loves - Skydancer. Will she one day have a trustbond with him? Will her wish be fulfilled? Read the book to find out!
I liked that dragons were in it because I love dragons, but I didn't like that Cara did something Huw didn't like.
