  Heat by Mike Lupica

Review by: Mileena G.
Florida, Grade 7

Heat is about a boy that loves baseball and when he was little he watched almost. His room is full with baseball and famous people that play the sport, but the sad thing is when he was little he coldn't play because they didn't have an age group. HE just had to wait one more year to play. So when he was waiting for that year to come he was practicing so much with his dad and brother outside in the backyard. The main point is when he got older he made it on the MLB team and he was a pitcher. He pitched it so fast and it's so surprising because he is small and really skinny and dosnt have muscle to pitch hard.
My favorite part of the book Heat is when people tell him you do horrible in pitching. He just ignores them and does the best he can. This part of the book is my favorite because the same thing happens to me but I tell him to stop. So I should stop doing that and try my best.

I love this book because I love baseball and the boy is just like me he has baseball all over this room . Also, he just ignores people if they make rude comments. Not like me , but i'm going to do that .
If you like baseball you should read this book as soon as you can!
