I have always wanted to travel to Big Sky Country. The author, Denise Hunter, does a great job of helping me to place myself in the position of Miss Abigail Jones, a truth seeking journalist who just needs a break from her job. I felt as though I could just feel the rushing summer breeze and smell the green grass. I love this book because of Abigail. She really captures your attention and heart from the beginning of the story. She reminds me of myself, a woman who struggles to find her rightful place in the world. She travels to Montana, unknowing she would find the place where she belongs. Wade Ryan is another reason I love this book. He is so mysterious, yet he draws your heart to him instantly. You know he has something to hide, but you get the feeling it is all just a misunderstanding. He has a compelling atmosphere that surrounds him and you instantly know he is a really wonderful man. I enjoyed the well portrayed Christian romance in this story. It was a well thought out and cleverly put together. The plot held me gripped to the point that I didn’t want to lay it down. I was intriguing how well the story’s multiple subplots worked so well together.
I would really recommend this book for any young lady who has a taste for a good Christian romance. It does a well job of portraying that love can truly come softly yet swiftly. But if you want to really know what takes place in Abigail and Wade’s encounter, you will just have to read this book. I sure anyone could be captured by this thrilling and suspenseful story.
