Grade 6 Reviews Any Small Goodness: A Novel of the Barrioby Tony Johnston
Review by: Gregorio B.
North Carolina, Grade 6
The book is good because it is about the barrio. The book is about a boy named Arturo and his family that just moved to the barrio. In the book many people do a small goodness chapter by chapter. Like Mama Dulce, she teaches children in the barrio how to play the piano and help children to study for school and for life. Arturo’s father painted rocks for Mami on Valentine’s Day. Coach tree, he works for free helping the basketball team. However a gang starts messing with Arturo. Now he has to choose good or bad.
You should read this book because it teaches you to do good in the world even if the goodness is small or big so remember do good and don’t do evil in world.
