Amelia Earhart
By: Catherine G.
Florida, Grade 7

I think that Amelia Earhart should be in the honor roll for woman. Amelia was the most famous female aviators to me, off course. She inspires me. Her journey and the disappearance of Amelia is a mystery to me as well as many other young females. Amelia first started at 10-years-old...incredible. I personally love aviation and planes and she is a role model to me. Amelia changed the world with aviation and I truly do not know why Amelia isn't on the honor roll of famous woman who changed the world. People must have really cared for her because they spent just about $4 million to look for Amelia and 250,000 square miles of sea. Amelia was brave and courageous both for her aviation and a woman as herself. She belongs in the honor roll.
