Back to Anne Frank

Anne Frank

For years I have read The Dairy of Ann Frank, and for the same amount of years I have wondered what it must have been like just to be in her place. Some people say she just stayed in an attic for a couple of years, but it's more than that. She missed major parts of her life like going to school, meeting friends, going to parties, having fun on holidays, and trying new and amazing things that you just have to do before you get older and regret it. You see, you and I know how it feels to do crazy things and hang out with our friends. We know how it is to graduate from school and go out to celebrate, but she didn't. Anne didn't know how it was outside of the attic. She had to rely on other sources. Everyday she wondered if she was to be killed if the Nazis found her. I don't know about you, but if I were her I probally wouldn't have the heart to do what she did. That is why I am nominating Anne Frank for honor Roll, because of the fact that although she stayed in a little attic for a number of years she made the best of it and she was brave and couragious. For that reason, I really admire her for that reason and all the others.
