Back to Elizabeth I

Elizabeth I
By: Namita S.
Wisconsin, Grade 6

She proved to people that she could rule her empire all on her own. Her sister, who had gotten married, had left the country torn, and when Elizabeth died, England was a prosperous and happy country. She was defiant and firm and had many strategies and she knew how to use things to her advantage. She defeated the Spanish armada. She never persecuted people for their religious beliefs, although she promoted the Protestant religion. Her reign of England was called the Golden Age of England, and she did it all herself.
