Harriet Beecher Stow was a writer, she had writen ''Uncle Tom's Cabin,'' this book was to change the fact of slavery.
Harriet didn't like slavery one bit, and wanted to make a big difference in somen elses life. That is why she wrote the book and that is the reason she is one of the women of the month. Soon British publishers were selling copies of ''Uncle Tom's Cabin,'' It was translated into different languages, and sold all around the world. Soon the slavery would stop.
