Do you know what Lucretia Mott did? Well, Ms. Mott was a leader of the dangerous abolitionists {people who wanted to end slavery} Ms. Mott began going to Quaker,{school} it was there when she first thought of slavery as a bad thing to do. Ms. Mott told people not to buy cotton, sugar and molasses, so slave owners would not keep slaves and get money off them.Antislavery was far from a popular cause in the 1830ís. People did not scare Ms. Mott. She kept going on with her activities. Which led to another cause, womenís rights.
