Back to Mother Theresa

Mother Theresa

Georgia, Grade 6

I am nominating Mother Teresa for the fact that she cared for people so much. She was a wonderful person and was very kind to others. Mother Teresa gave up almost everything she had for people who had less than her. She once received a limousine. But instead of keeping it and hiring a chaffeur to drive it, she gave it away to a needy family. When asked why, she answered simply: ''I had no use for it, and they needed it worse.'' she only owned one pair of shoes, and her simple nun's robe. She had a powerful affect on the world, and even after her death, she will always be remembered as a great women in history, and a kind and commpasionate one for the poor, needy, and helpless.
