Mother. Theresa

The famous women that I want to nominate for National Women’s History month is Mother Theresa. She devoted her life to aiding sick people and poor people throughout the world!!!!! While she was helping poor and others, people gave her a nickname. That nickname that they gave her was “Saint of the Gutters” because she helped the poorest of the poor. Mother Theresa founded an order of nuns called the missionaries of Charity in Calcutta. For over 50 years, she worked selflessly helping the poor!!!
Since she started helping people, Mother Theresa won a Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 for…. helping the poor!!!!! From then on, Mother Theresa said that she would see Jesus in everyone that she met!! It didn’t matter whether they were dying from AIDS or Leprosy. Mother Theresa wanted everyone to die in peace and with dignity.
