She helped 250 soldiers that were wounded. She put wet bandaieds on them. She made them comfortable. She and her nurses cooked for the wounded soldiers. When she was young she nursed sick animals. She attended the neds of the British soldiers wounded in the European war. She got $222,000 to find the Nightengale Training for Nurses at St. Thomas Hospital in London. She was called the Lady with he Lamp because she took care of soldiers at night.
