By: Amber H.
Pennsylvania, Grade 8

I am nominating Rosa Parks because she believed, she believed that she could make a difference. She did not even do anythng drastic to get my vote. All she did was say im not taking it anymore i am not going to give up a good seat on a bus a paid for just like you, for you.She sat their and did not take it anymore she said that was the last time a black person would give up their seat for a white man.She did not listen, she knew their would be consequences but did she care,no!She stood up or you can say sat down for her right. She knew it was not right for africn american people to be treated like that,so she knew she had to do something to stop it. So she sat heir and let know man make her move but the law. That is why Mrs. Rosa Parks got my vote.
