Rosa Parks
By: Sabrina I.
New Jersey, Grade 6

I am nominating Rosa Parks because she refused to give up her bus seat to a white passenger when she was ordered to move to the back of the bus just because of the color of her skin. She was very brave to do that she could have went to jail or worse and even though she was arrested she still kepted on fighting for equal rights. Also by ''sitting down'' for what she believed in, and refusing to give up her bus seat, Mrs. Parks made history.
