Helen Keller
By: Theresa J.
Missouri, Grade 7

Helen Keller was a woman of great bravery. she survived a terrible disease that affected her sight, hearing and speech. When she was a little girl she had to have a teacher help her with this incurable disease. Her parents took her from eye doctor to eye doctor, even though she was never cured of her disease, her speech had returned, but only in letters and sometimes words.I admire her for her courage, that's why I nominate Helen Keller for the honor roll of women's month.
THANK YOU
