Helen Keller
By: Karissa M.
New Jersey, Grade 8

Despite Ms. Keller's handicap, leaving her unable to see and hear, she was able to accomplish more in her life then the typical woman. After learning to communicate at a young age through her sense of touch she grew-up to become an inspiring speaker and author. She was a living example to many civilians and her legacy still lives on today.
