Amelia Earhart
By: Richard N.
New Jersey, Grade 6

I am nominating Amelia Earhart because she was the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. It must have been hard for her to fly across the ocean with a limited amount of gas and did not run out of it at all. All and all she was a very confident person and always belived in her self and had two brothers. She lived in Saint Louis, Ill. Her airplane's name was The Spirit of Saint Louis.
