Alice Paul
By: Victoria S.
New Jersey, Grade 6

She was one of the notable women that changed the outlook of women involved in democracy. She was imprisoned but never gave up until the 19th ammendment was passed. If Alice Paul did not help pass the Equal Rights Ammendment the women in America today would not have a say in democracy. Alice did not sit on the side lines, she stud up for what she believed in even if there was consequences.
