One woman who wasn't put into the Womens Hall of Fame who deserves to be there, wouldbe the American anthropologist Margaret Mead.
One important thing she did was she studied half a dozen primitive tribes to better understand learned behaviors of different societies and comparethem to western culture.Because she studied half a dozen tribes she was able, with that knowledge, to write twenty factual books on various tribes.Margaret Mead wrote those books so people all around the world could find things out about tribal behavior so western civilization could learn to develop better ways of life. She also received 28 honorable doctorates. All of those reasons are why Margaret Mead was the most famous anthropologist in the world at the time of her death (1978) and why she should be in the Women's Hall of Fame.
