Rosa Parks
By: Lizzie D.
New Jersey, Grade 7

Rosa Parks made a great impact on society. She proved that nobody has to be treated with racist behavior. When Rosa refused to give up her bus seat, she changed the world for the better. She stood up for what she believed in, which is something that people should do more often. What made her extremely special though was not just that she stood up for her beliefs, but was that she made a difference by standing up for herself and all African Americans like her. Her greatness thankfully wore off on other people, and most racism has ceased in the United States. She is a wonderful and self-confident person who deserves to be nominated for the Honor Roll.
