Rosa Parks
By: Amy M.
Alaska, Grade 6

I nominate Rosa Parks because she made history of sitting in the front of the bus instead of sitting in the back of the bus where she was supposed to sit. This happened in Montgomery, Alabama. It happened in the year of 1955. She got arrested for violating a city law requiring that whites amd blacks sit in seperate rows in buses. Her action started the Cival Rights Movement.
