Amelia Earhart was born on July 24, 1897 in Atchison,Kansas. In WW1 she was a nurse. After that she decided to be a doctor, and she entered herself in to Columbia University in New York City.
But when her parents went back together
she went with them. She loved the air shows so much when she was offered to fly she said yes. Amelia took her first flight in Dec. 1920. Amelia Earhart was the first woman to fly across the Atlantic. On July 2, 1937 she went missing on her way around the world.
