Country of Origin: Germany

I came to Ellis Island in America in 1911 to have a better life. Only my sister and I came, and we were the first from our family to come to America.

I brought along my German Bible. It was very important to me and my family. The trip to America was very calm, and we met many people.

America was like a giant grass field intercepted by huge blades of grass (buildings). In America I worked in Hollywood, on sets. Eventually I bought a lake house in New Hampshire.

In Germany, I built genuine cookoo clocks, and I like to play cards for fun.
