China Man

Where are you from? I am from China. This is an autobiography about my life. First I am going to give you my background information. And then, I’ll tell you about my immigration experience to U.S. last, I will talk to you about my life in the U.S.

I am Fengze; I am from Fujian, China. City of northeast of China, I have many friends and relatives living there. My favorite food is steam fish with spring onion, and my favorite type of music is a hip-hop, also my favorite sport is basketball, the last I am coming to introduce my family for you, I have 3 older sisters and 1 older brother, and of course my parents and I. I am the youngest in my family.

My immigration experience coming to the U.S.A. It was happy, sad and boring. We were happy when my mother got the letter from the immigration department following that day; my mother bought the plane tickets. We had 5 stages in our journey to the U.S. We said bye to our friends and relatives in the airport on March /03/06, they were crying, but I wasn’t. When we left them, we entered the airplane. We flew the Hong Kong first and we stayed approximately 2 hours there waiting for the airplane to the Taiwan to Washington. When I entered the airplane in Taiwan to Washington, I felt dizzy in the airplane; I couldn’t eat any food except to drink water. When we came to the airport in Washington, we entered the airplane from Washington to New York after the immigration officer checked our passports. When I came to the New York, maybe the time was late, so that’s why my father let us slept in my uncle’s house for one night, the next day, in the morning my father called the taxi to drive for us to the Virginia.

I am happy living in the U.S.A and my family hopes I can go to college. I have here for more than 1 year, I am a student in WHPS, and sometimes I have to work in my father’s restaurant. “if you have a job and then also you have the knowledge,” my father said to me.

Now, we living in the U.S.A, we are happy, because I can get more hopes for enter the college. There are many differences in my country and the U.S.A. for example, the cultures, languages and the skins, also the tradition and the Religions. Whatever there are many differences in my country and the U.S.A, but we both live in the earth, I hope all people can be a family.
