Narine remembers her school in Armenia. It was almost the same as in the U.S., only she went to school in Saturdays. Narine came to the U.S. when she was 11, in November of 1989. She came here because she had relatives here. Before she came her grandparents and aunts had come. Narine came with her family on an airplane. At first she hated the U.S. because she didn't speak English very well. She brought books that had written in them the history of Armenia.

The hardest thing for her was leaving her relatives.
