A: Freedom, I was a 12-year-old refugee from Vietnam.
Q: How long did it take you to get your citizenship?
A: A few years (2-3 years), I had a church sponsor me.
Q: Were you ever turned down? If so, how many times?
A: No, I passed all the tests and exams.
Q: how long did you live in America before you got your drivers license?
A: I got my drivers license when I was 18, so about 6 years.
Q: Did you find American currency difficult to understand?
A: No, I found it very easy to learn.
Q: Now do you have any family in Vietnam?
A: Everyone in my family now lives in America.
Q: Did you ever live off any type of visa.
A: No, I became a citizen immediately and got a green and social security card.
Q: What do you miss the most about your home country?
A: I miss the weather in Vietnam the most.
Q: What is the thing you like the most about America?
A: Freedom and the hope of having social security.
Q: Are there any more family members that have become?
A: All of my family lives in America now.
