North Carolina

As my father said goodbye to me at the bus stop early one cool, September morning, we had no idea how crazy the events that followed would be. My father, who had a degree from UNC, was in his office when he heard the news. A plane, taken over by terrorists, crashed into the Twin Towers. His entire office building was loud with screams of shock and terror. Everyone was wondering if there would be other attacks and where they would strike. He didn't hear anything else until after he got home from the gym that evening. He turned on the news and saw all of the damage that occured on that day. He said that it was a day that he could never forget. It was a day that defined a decade and will be remembered by people around the world.
