Q1. Why did you move to the U.S.?
I moved to the U.S. to work to earn
more money for my family.
I want to improve the life that my
family lives. I send them
some money for a better life. I only
visit them rarely.
2. Where did you live before coming to
the U.S?
Celaya, Guanujuato, Mexico
3. Who did you move here with?
I came with my brother in law named
San Diago. He has been
here for years and told me about it.

I have a wife and a 6 year old
5. Do you like it here?
Yes! The people are nice. There is a lot
of good work here.
6. How are things different here than
where you came from?
There is a lot more work here.
People’s lifestyles are different
and there are more places to buy
things, the food is different,
but good. There are more vegetables
available in Mexico. The
music is different. I like to listen to
country music and I like
Rock n Roll. I used to only listen to
Mexican music. There is one
Mexican station here.
7. How is religion different here?
Catholic is the number one religion in
Mexico. Most people are

you faced?

Being away from my family.

Took a bus.

Working for Charles and making
friendships with the
American people. I enjoy earning good
money for my family.
