William Pullin believes he is very fortunate to survive the war. Bill was twenty years old when the war started. He was enlisted in the Army. He served in England, North Africa, Italy, the Island or Corsica, and then South or France into Austria. His jobs in the Army were radio operator, telephone linesman, observer in artillary, and prisoners of war exchange. Bill achieved the rank of Lanse Corpral. During the attack of Pearl Harbor he was at his auntĘs house. He had been playing a board game at around two oĘclock Sunday afternoon. Bill didnĘt have many friends in the war but his best friend was his cousin Will. He will never forget him.
