I interviewed my grandmother, Zofia. She was born in Rabka, Poland and has lived in the United States for 21 years. She moved here on March 13, 1981 and now lives in Newark, New Jersey. She traveled by plane this year to Chicago and would love to live there because she has lots of family there. What she likes about the United States is the freedom because in Poland they donĂt have this kind of freedom. Poland is a poor country. In Poland they have the same alphabet except for the letters ŠxĂ and ŠvĂ. There is more snow in Poland and school doesnĂt close for a snow day. A long time ago they had kings and queens that lived in castles. They stopped having kings and queens but the castles are still standing.
