I interviewed my grandmother about the war. This is what she had to say. The hardest part about the war was adjusting to not being able to have something. You needed a ticket for everything. No matter how rich you were you needed a ticket. We could not go on vacations or have certain foods because you could only have so much gas or foods. The hardest part was knowing you could not have something, not because of money reasons, but because you do not have the ticket.
